Chiron is an envelope generator and a stereo VCA on one 8HP panel. It shapes how each note begins and ends, so an oscillator and a gate are all you need for a finished note.
The envelope has two modes. In ADSR mode it follows the classic attack–decay–sustain–release shape. In Cycle mode the same four sliders turn Chiron into a looping function generator (attack, hold, fall, hold) that runs on its own or restarts on incoming gates. The VCA can raise the signal to twice its input level, and a soft limiter rounds off the peaks. The 2HP Ch-X expander, included, adds a CV input for each of the four sliders.

- ENV output up to +5V and EOC trigger at the end of every envelope
- Per-stage CV control via the Ch-X expander
- Envelope out as a USB-MIDI controller
- Slider LEDs show the running stage; ENV LED shows the envelope level
